Why Should I Login?
If you login your uploaded images will be there when you return. That way you won’t have to find your file if you decide you want to print it again, or you can easily try a different media type or size. You will have access to a password protected library of your images ready to print with Color One.
For tax exempt status, creating an account will allow you to upload a resale certificate.
Which order method should I use?
There are two preferred methods to place an order with us; The My Files Page and The File Transfer Page.
1. The My Files Page:
There is no minimum order using My Files
You can place your order from either your computer or mobile device when using the My Files Page. If you log-in, the images you upload will remain in your password-protected library.
Jpg and Tif files only when using the Upload Page - 100Mb maximum file size.
Not all products are available in custom sizes. If you don’t see the product you want, it might not be available at that size. For instance, Metal Prints and Canvas Wraps are not available in custom sizes when ordering with the My Files page.
When using the My Files page your image may be slightly enlarged on some products in order to completely fill the specified sheet size to the edge. Metal prints and some mounted prints require an image ‘bleed’ in production. The bleed size is normally .125" at print size on each of the four sides of your image. For precise cropping on these products please include a bleed in your files and transfer them to us through the file transfer page.
2. The File Transfer Page:
The File Transfer Page is for transferring files that have been professionally prepared for your order. The FTP is also good for placing custom-sized orders, and for transferring larger files, PDF files, and zip files.
The File Transfer Page has no Shopping Cart. We will contact you by email to arrange for payment after reviewing your files. Feel free to contact us with questions.
Orders placed using the FTP are subject to a $10 order entry fee and a $20 minimum.
3. Email & Other:
Custom orders placed with files provided on discs or drives or emails with links to files that bypass our online order entry system will incur a $10 order entry fee and a $20 minimum order. Files must be print ready. Please do not email attachments to us.
4. In Store: There is a $20 fee for orders placed in our store lobby. Time needed for personalized file preparation will be billed at $100 an hour, in 15 minute increments.
Local Pickup is available for free with all order entry methods. Shipping options are available when placing your order. If you choose local pickup when ordering and later request shipping there will be a $10 handling fee added to your shipping cost.
How do I prepare my files for custom orders?
Flattened RGB Tif, Max Quality Jpg, or PDF files.
File resolution should be 150 to 300 PPI at Print Size.
Do not include crop marks (or bleed) in your file. If you want borders on your prints include borders in your file.
If possible please follow this naming convention:
How soon will my order be ready?
Turnaround times vary by product. Our normal turnaround time on most products is 2 to 3 days. Certain orders might require 5 to 10 days. Please see product descriptions for specific turnaround times.

What About Borders? Custom Sizes?
If you choose to use the Upload Store, there is a print option to add 1/2" white borders on art & photo prints.
Custom Sizes are available in the Upload Store, Choose Custom Sizes at the bottom of the size list to Crop or Fit your image.
Also note there is an actual size option in the size list using the Upload Store. Choose actual size if you create or edit your file to a specific size, or have manually added borders.
If you need custom border sizes please use The File Transfer Page and specify the additional border size you would like, or include borders in your file(s). Specified border sizes do not change the image size, they make the print size larger.
An 8x10 with a 1/2" border(s) will produce a 9x11 print because the borders are on all sides.
Fine art prints at non-standard sizes may be bulk packaged. Adding borders to standard sizes can create non-standard sizes. Please use standard sizing whenever possible.
